![]() ![]() Sure enough, I got 1 task, then a whole bunch of them. Said that I was an existing user, just like as if I got a new computer. Well, it worked! Went to “simple view”, deleted Milky Way. Mine showed up tonight thankyou very much!! Let me know if there is still an issue with stats. This should be working now (at least the stats seem to be in the directory). But at least the expected place (or https, or/and milkyway-new if you will) is empty. I am not sure where 3rd party sites (free-dc, boincstats, …) got their stats files from before the maintenance downtime. You need to delete the Project from the Boinc Manager and then add it back in agaIn thru the Boinc Manager because it slightly changed it's name when it went to the new Server and your milkyway.xml file has the old name in it.Īs mentioned by others, credit stats export is not working yet. It did an auto-try a couple mins later and failed to get any work again. Second try client requested work, but didn't get any: I checked it, saved it and tried it again.įirst try, I had a moment and smacked myself for not turning work fetch on. The only thing not checked was run other applications on work. Nbody was checked on both main and work preferences. Go to your preferences and enable tasks for N-Body Simulation I'm on WIndows 10 with latest BOINC client and can't get any work. Thread to report issues after server migration Just use the one listed in the Boinc Manager and you will be fine I posted to the thread in the number crunching but apparently that info hasn't been relayed over. ![]() It appears Kevin needs to let Willy BAM! know what the correct URL is because it's not pointing to it. I don't see anything (official) on website where the correct URL is. It's possible but not likely in the near future, there ARE people trying a various projects to offer their assistance in getting Mac OS apps up nd running but that is not as easy as it sounds for projects with very little continuity in their Boinc support, like MilkyWay. Is there any point to remaining attached to this project, or is it the end of the road? ![]() I hadn’t been paying attention for a while-seems my iMac hasn’t done any work since June. ![]()
